Returns & Exchanges Policy
At IslandGirlHawaii.com, each creation is handcrafted with care and intention. Because many of our designs are custom made, personalized, or finished to order, all sales are final.
Returns for Defective Products Only
We do not accept returns on jewelry, except in the event of a verified manufacturing defect reported within 3 days of delivery. Items sent back to us for approved repair or after-sales service are accepted for service purposes only and are not considered returns of the sale.
Exchanges
We consider exchanges of equal value for approved cases only, including verified defects or order errors, under the conditions outlined below:
The request must be made within 3 days of delivery
The exchange must be due to an error made at the time of the original order (such as selecting the wrong size, or option)
The item must be unworn, undamaged, and in original condition
Personalized, hand-engraved, or custom-made items are not eligible for exchange
All shipping costs to and from our factory are the responsibility of the customer
All exchange requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and require approval. If an exchange results in a higher-priced ring size or option, the customer will be responsible for the price difference based on the product page listing details.
After-Sales Service
We offer after-sales service exclusively through our Repair Department. This includes services such as re-glazing (adding additional layers of genuine gold), repairs due to normal wear, resizing when applicable, or other approved service-related requests.
Normal wear over time, including wear to gold-glaze finishes, is not considered a manufacturing defect. If your gold-glaze finish has worn down through normal use, we offer re-glazing services that allow us to apply a new layer of genuine gold over your sterling silver at a modest cost, helping extend the life and beauty of your jewelry.
Any item sent to us for after-sales service must be pre-approved after the customer reviews our established repair service cost prior to mailing. All shipping costs to and from our factory are the responsibility of the customer requesting the repair.
